- Congratulations to the Class of 1967! Classmates came from several states and as far as Oregon, North Carolina, Tennessee, and New Mexico to celebrate their 50 year reunion!
- WFHS students learn welding on our campus and at Baton Rouge Community College at Folkes in Jackson. These students have an opportunity to progress and gain National Craft Assessment and Certification (NCCER). Students leaving this program with a certification have an opportunity to gain job employment post high school that is high demand and high wage. A special thanks goes to WFHS Coach Robb Odom, Mr. Johnny Arceneaux, Baton Rouge Community College Director at the Folkes campus in Jackson, and his team for making this program a success.

- Several of our boys landed their best time yet at a Cross Country meet at Highland Road on last Saturday.
- CB Owens, Rotarian, provides free dictionaries to 3rd grade students, Camille Thomas, Emily Costnaza, and Jhaniyh Haile. The St. Francisville Rotary provides all 3rd graders in West Feliciana free dictionaries each school year.

- Haley Walker, WFHS Sophomore, helps with Fall Fest at Bains Lower. Margaret Bell, Jayce Sullivan, Haley Walker, Rylee Travis, and Mary Lyle enjoy Fall Fest.
- The WFHS Interact Club made a presentation about the club and the services it provides to the community at the Tuesday meeting of the St. Francisville Rotary. Ms. Brittany Ricks, WFHS Teacher and Interact Sponsor, President Fiona Tully, Vice President Paige Morgan, and Secretary Caroline Smith did an excellent job of telling Interact's story of service. The membership of Interact Club has grown from 22 members to 46 in two years. Last year, the club raised money for Rotary for service, sponsored a dog adoption, made special rocks for children at St. Jude, and worked at a local nursing home. This year they plan to do many of these activites plus other service projects.
- Our STEM class at WFMS is a great way to introduce our students to careers in STEM while reenforcing three skills that are vital to the success in the 21st century: critical thinking, creativity, and collabortation.

- Riley Roland, Alyssa Adams, Keagan Holliday, and Anthony Butler create a commercial in our Mr. Brett Craig's Careers course to advertise their pizza company. Students have an opportunity to take this course for high school credit.
