- WFMS swept the house at the Youth & Legislature program in Baton Rouge! All of our students were elected to top positions; therefore, West Fel represented ALL leadership positions.

- The WFHS ProStart Management Team has done it again! For the second year in the row, they won 1st place at the state competition. They will now travel to Washington DC to compete in the national competition. Congratulations go to Chef Amy Dreher, Lora Lathrop, Caroline Smith, Amelia Percy, and Lilly Ray!
- Bains students, Kendall Bailey and Royal Butler, found some money at Bains and they brought it straight to the office. We have the best students! #wearewestfel
- Bains Lower students are learning about the Life Cycle of a Butterfly. Through the process of metamorphosis, students have been able to watch caterpillars daily grow in size, form their chrysalis, and now we're seeing butterflies emerge from each chrysalis.
- Bains Elementary, WFMS, and WFHS students created drawings and paintings of the Old Benevolent Society. The drawings and paintings are displayed at the West Feliciana Library. The artwork was a part of the presentation at the St. Franciville Rotary which meets at the West Feliciana Library.
- Maddie Temple, Mattie Owens, Abbie Guillory--researching diet programs and creating a presentation in Ms. Sara Parkerson's health class. They took advantage of a beautiful day to work outside.

- Alex Gonzales and Luke Rounique participate in a Gallery Walk on Newton's Laws in Ms. Nicole Lynch's science class.
- WFMS students, Haley Brouillette, Emma Goodman, and Je'Nya Gilmore are exploring Newton's Third Law of Motion in a station activity in Ms. Mallory Cabin's science class.
- The WFHS Honors Program recognized 132 students who made the Principal's List with a 4.0 or above G.P.A., 101 students with a 3.5 to 3.99 G.P.A, 82 students with a Counselor's List, 22 Seniors scored 27 or above on ACT, 10 students qualify for State Rally, 5 of whom placed 1st and earned a $100 scholarship to Southeastern, and Advanced Placement recognitions: 32 students scored 3 or higher on one or more AP exams, 7 Students scored a 5 on one or more AP exams, 8 Students scored a 3 or higher on 2 AP exams, 2 Students who made a qualifying score on 3 AP exams, 28 Students recognized as AP Scholars (Scored 3 or higher on 3 or more AP Exams), 5 AP Scholars with Distinction, and 1 National AP Scholar.

- Congratulations go to Graycee Nettles for making the 100 point Accelerated Reader Club! Graycee received a game ball from the WFHS Ladies Softball Team!

- WFHS Saints Softball Team hosted another Teal game to support teammate, Lauren Mendenall, and raise awareness about ovarian cancer. Lauren was able to attend and throw out the first pitch. #TeamLauren

- WFHS provides CPR certification to our students. WFMS provides training in CPR. And now with a generous donation by the West Feliciana Hospital, Bains 5th graders will receive training in CPR next year. A special thanks goes to the WFHS Hospital and Ms. Lee Chastant and Ms. Leslie Dozier of the American Heart Association.
