- Mr. LeDell Whitfield, a WFHS graduate and an electrical engineer at Exxon, greeted our star STEM students from Bains Lower at the West Feliciana Library. Ms. Natasha Hayes, Bains Lower STEM teacher, organized the 2018-2019 STEM Honors Program so her top students could be recognized for their hard work and commitment to STEM.

- The WFMS Youth Legislature had a tremendous year! All offices were held by our students and WFMS had 21 students inducted into the Hall of Fame. WFMS also had several successful bills that were signed into law. The bill sponsors and co-sponsors at Youth Legislature were: Da'Niya Sullivan, Dashna Arbuthnot, Lucas Felton, Felipe Del Solar, Blaine Hord, Barron McClure, Jayden Polk, Andre' LeBlanc, Charles Fox-Smith, Thy Hong, Courtland Patton, and Will D'Aquilla.
- Congratulations go to the WFHS Boys and Girls Track Team! 6-3A District Champions!
- Congratulations goes to Ms. Willa Parkerson and Ms. Diane Comfort! Both were chosen as West Feliciana Volunteers of the Year for 2019-2020! The Associated Professional Educators Association (A+PEL) recognized both for their hard work and service with a reception held at The Francis.

- Bains Lower students, Rylee Thevis, Abby Saint, Gabe Berry, LaMyra Peck, and Macie Cannon did a great job of leading the morning announcements! Each student was full of energy and enthusiasm.
- WFHS students dominated the Skilled Crafts Competition sponsored by the Associated Builders & Contractors in Baton Rouge. Our carpentry team placed first, our electrical team placed second, and Dylan George was recognized as First Place Electrician as the highest scoring competitor in the electrical contest. - What does success in school look like? When a student reaches his goal and his teachers feel like a million dollars. Congratulations go to Calvin Banford, 2nd grade, and his teachers!
