West Feliciana High School is proud to recognize our outstanding students who have excelled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Their achievements reflect their dedication and commitment to rigorous academic challenges.

West Feliciana High School offers a wide range of AP courses across various subjects, including the AP Seminar and AP Research courses. These courses provide students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, research, and presentation skills. Students who complete both AP Seminar and AP Research with qualifying scores can earn the AP Capstone Diploma or the AP Seminar and Research Certificate, further demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence

Students who achieve high scores across multiple AP exams can earn distinctions such as AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, and AP Scholar with Distinction. The AP Scholar title is awarded to students who score 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. An AP Scholar with Honor is recognized for maintaining an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and achieving scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams. The AP Scholar with Distinction accolade is given to those who maintain an average score of 3.50 or higher and score 3 or higher on five or more AP exams.

This year West Feliciana High School had twenty-one AP Scholars, six AP Scholars with Honor, four AP Scholars with Distinction, and one student who earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate.

"We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements in the AP program," said Heather DeSalvo, assistant principal of West Feliciana High School. "Our AP courses are designed to prepare students for the challenges they will face beyond high school, and these results are a testament to the hard work of both our students and teachers."

As we look ahead to this year’s exams, we are excited to see even more students rise to the challenge and continue the tradition of excellence at West Feliciana High School. With the commitment of our dedicated teachers and the perseverance of our students, we anticipate another year of remarkable success and achievement.
