It’s that exciting time of year again—Homecoming is just around the corner! We are thrilled to celebrate this special week filled with fun activities, school spirit, and lasting memories. While we encourage students to enjoy themselves, we also want to remind everyone that safety comes first.
Here’s a look at our Homecoming Week festivities:
✨ Monday, Sept. 30: Sleeping Beauty
Wear your school-appropriate pajamas! Let’s kick off the week in comfort.
🏈 Tuesday, Oct. 1: Monsters Inc. University
Show off your favorite college gear or jersey and rep your future dreams!
🌟 Wednesday, Oct. 2: Walt Disney Wednesday
Come dressed as your favorite Disney character for a magical day!
🌊 Thursday, Oct. 3: Under the Sea
Channel your inner mermaid, diver, or underwater creature! Get creative, but remember: costumes must be appropriate for school.
👕 Friday, Oct. 4: We’re All in This Together
It’s Spirit Day! Wear your Homecoming shirt and jeans as we come together as Saints.
In addition to these fun dress days, we have several exciting events lined up:
WFHS Pep Rally: Friday, October 4 during school at 10:20 a.m.—get ready to show your school pride and cheer on the team!
Early Dismissal Day: Friday, October 4 at 11:42 a.m. Car riders, drivers, and students who do not want to eat lunch in the cafeteria will be dismissed from the pep rally at 11:20 a.m. Bus riders and students who want to eat lunch in the cafeteria will report to t he cafeteria after the pep rally and will be dismissed at 11:42 a.m.
Parade: Friday, October 4 at 2:00 p.m. Join us as the Homecoming Court, sports teams, and more march through town to show their school spirit!
Homecoming Game: Friday, October 4 at 7:00 p.m. West Feliciana vs. Plaquemine. Be sure to arrive early for the Homecoming Court presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by the crowning of our queen at halftime.
Homecoming Dance: Saturday, October 5 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. in the WFHS Gymnasium. The theme is "Once Upon a Homecoming" and we can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and having a great time. Tickets are on presale for $12 or $15 at the door.
