Thirteen lucky readers won a yummy steak lunch in the library! Their names were put into a drawing for every 10 AR points they earned during the 3rd nine weeks. Mrs. Lathrop toasted their success and encouraged them to keep on reading before serving her homemade chocolate lava cakes! Winners were Jaxson R. Smith, Eliana Grimsley, Quinn Levasseur, Myla Guerra, Kimberly Matta Juarez, Zaine Weller, Maddy Saint, John Levert, Carissa Ferguson, Zoe Smith, Averitt Grimsley, Khameron Massey, and Tommy Lastrapes. Thank you to Mrs. Emily Grimsley for help with serving and the beautiful flowers.

This Friday we invite our students to show their TEAM SPIRIT by wearing their favorite team jersey or spirit top with uniform bottoms for $1. Crocs and slides are allowed. All proceeds will support the West Feliciana Educational Foundation.
Pay $1 to ROCK YOUR SOCKS and help us celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st! Students can pay $1 to wear crazy socks and a blue or yellow shirt with their uniform bottoms. Crocks and slides are allowed! All proceeds support the National Down Syndrome Society.

WFMS teachers were feeling a little LUCKY today after a visit from some LEPRECHAUNS spreading good cheer for Saint Patrick's Day 🍀
SPRING SPORTS PHOTOS will take place on Tuesday, 3/19. Students on these teams will take pictures: baseball, track, volleyball, golf. Bring your uniform with you to school. You will change before you take your photo.
We hope you will join us for our annual SPRING SHOWCASE next Thursday, March 21st at 6:00 PM in the middle school gym. You will enjoy student performances, see demonstrations, view artwork, and tour the BOOK FAIR. There will even be FOOD TRUCKS, so plan to stop for a snack or dinner!
WFMS students are invited to attend a production of WILLY WONKA by WFHS and Talented Theater students. The performance will take place during the school day on Wednesday, March 20th. The cost for students is $5. Ticket money must be turned in to the homeroom teacher by Tuesday of next week.
