
Note from WFMS—Due to the high risk of severe weather tomorrow, March 22, West Feliciana Parish Schools will be closed. Every student should have an AR book to read for their ELA class. Students should read for 30 minutes and write a STOP-N-JOT summary at the end of the session or for each chapter. This assignment will be collected by your child’s ELA teacher.

Note from WFMS—Note from WFMS—We have a Jean day fund raiser for $1 tomorrow, 3/18. All proceeds will be donated to the high school for Project Graduation. If students bring a dollar, they can wear jeans with a grade level t-shirt or school shirt. Also, they can wear slides or crocs with that donation.

A group of WFMS 6th and 8th graders traveled to the Bonnet Carre Spillway to plant 250 Cypress trees contributing to wetland restoration efforts in Southeastern Louisiana. This project is part of LSU’s Coastal Roots program.
